Beginner Yoga & Ball Rolling
Time: 5:00pm – 6:00pm
Location: Flow Yoga Studio, 532 Lowell st. Peabody, MA
This class is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. Classes will focus on alignment emphasizing the forms and actions within the yoga postures as they are held in accurate alignment. Emphasis is placed on core strength, flexibility and balance, as well as concentration and breath control. Class is slower paced than an all-levels class and incorporates therapy ball rolling to break up tight muscles / fascia.
Cost: Drop-in $16. Packages are available.
Lunchtime Hatha Yoga – Classes will Resume in September
Time: 12:15 – 1:15pm
Location: Peabody Corporate Center, 100 Corporate Place (behind Holiday Inn Route 1 North), suite 101
This beginner friendly class includes yoga postures, with modifications for all levels and abilities, breathing techniques and a final 5-7 minute meditation / relaxation that will allow to feel relaxed and stretched but not sweaty so you can return to work physically and mentally ready for your week.
Cost: $15 per class and 5 class cards are available for $60. Pre-registration required.
Fluid Flow Yoga
Dates: Saturdays 9:15 – 10:15am
Location: Flow Yoga Studio, 532 Lowell St. Peabody, MA
Mixed level Vinyasa flow that is vigorous, dynamic, physically and spiritually energizing.
No two classes are the same. Basic yoga knowledge is recommended for a more enjoyable experience, but all stages of the postures are explained with modifications provided so that all levels feel welcome.
Cost: $16 drop in, packages are available.
Dates: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays
Time: 7:30 – 8:30pm
Location: Body & Soul, 111 Canal st. Salem, MA
Take an hour to unwind and relax with simple stretching, yoga breathing (pranayama), and a 20 – 25 minute guided meditation. Each week we will explore a different mindfulness / meditation style or technique.
Chairs will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle.
