Gentle Yoga at Flow

This class focuses on breath and self awareness in the forms opposed to the way a pose looks. Class is slow paced Hatha yoga, mostly lying and seated with a few standing poses..

Embodied Yoga at Gallery at Lynn Arts (GALA)

Dates: Wednesdays, June 19 – July 24th, 2019 (Evening sessions starting August)
Time: 7:00am – 8:00am

This beginner friendly class is open to all ages, and all abilities… just wear comfortable clothes and be ready to play! Surrounded by art, each class will focus on opening the heart, clearing the mind and inspiring creativity. We will focus on what the Yoga postures feel like in the body rather than “proper form”. We will explore breath and movement, practice present moment awareness and gain some flexibility, strength and balance in the process.

*Note there will not be any hands on adjustments, and if you do not have a yoga mat one will be provided.

Cost: $15 per class, $12 for gallery members and 5 class cards are available for $65.

Fluid Flow Yoga

Dates: Alternate Saturdays 9:15 – 10:15am
Location: Flow Yoga Studio, 532 Lowell St. Peabody, MA

Mixed level Vinyasa flow that is vigorous, dynamic, physically and spiritually energizing.

No two classes are the same. Basic yoga knowledge is recommended for a more enjoyable experience, but all stages of the postures are explained with modifications provided so that all levels feel welcome.

Mindfulness for Less Stress

Dates: Wednesdays October 23 – December 17
Time: 6:15-7:15pm
Location: Senior Center Beverly, MA

Develop healthier behaviors, emotional resilience, and increased wellbeing with Mindfulness. Over 7 weeks we will learn what Mindfulness is and through gentle stretching, breathing exercises ( done standing and seated in chairs), easy and effective meditation practices begin to feel more relaxed, connected, and clear headed. Discussion will include ways to incorporate these practices and the principles of mindfulness into daily life. No prior experience necessary. Bring your water bottle and wear comfortable clothes.

Strength and Surrender Beginner Friendly Yoga

Dates: Wednesdays October 23 – December 17
Time: 7:30 – 9:00pm
Location: Senior Center Beverly, MA

Strength building Vinyasa flow blended with gentle restorative poses. Class ends with relaxation and meditation. No prior experience necessary. Bring your water bottle and and yoga mat.
